Happy Monday Everyone

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and I have plenty of creative stuff on my plate this week. I am putting the final touches on my CHA designs for Globecrafts, and then it is off to ship them. You will absolutely love the new product debuting next month at the Craft and Hobby Association being held in Chicago, and I cannot wait to share with you.

Today I am sharing with you the mini Album I made using the Display It All stand from Zutter. This is a gift for a very special and adorable little boy named AJ......our little nephew. I love how I am able to make the mini album and adhere to the stand so it can be displayed at home.
I thought that the Stella Rose collection by My Minds Eye was perfect for AJ's photos.
Here is a sneak peak inside of the album, featuring my favorite picture of AJ smiling while asleep......so cute! I cannot wait to show Sindy the whole album, and I hope she loves it. I love being able to creative and personalize gifts for the family.

Products used:
  • Bind It All (Zutter) - Display It All, Silver O-wire, Chipboard
  • My Minds Eye - Paper, Embellishments
  • May Arts - Ribbon
  • Ranger - Stickles
  • Authentique - mini alpha letters
Thanks for stopping by, see you real soon.

My Mermaid Earrings

Hi there bloggers, today I would love to share these cute earrings I made using from Piccolo Flower Charm Set from Globecraft. The Flower Charm set comes with a Charm for a necklace, and a matching set of earrings. I loved the size of the charm and opted to use 2 sets to make this pair of earrings.
Here is a close up, I love the Mermaid Tears Embossing......My favorite powders.
Using an Exacto knife, gently remove the lose pieces by cutting all the tick marks on earring. Do not pull apart the pieces because you can tear the chipboard.
Generously apply Embossing Powder Adhesive to the charm.
Using the Mermaid Tears Powder, I sprinkled powder all over the charm and put excess back into jar. I heat set my earring charms with my heat gun, cooled, and repeated the process again to achieve the 3 dimensional effect I was wanting.
Once cooled, I applied a thin layer of Glastique  to protect my earrings, Sterling Silver ball hook, and then I added Swarowski crystals to give my earring that finishing touch.

Products Used:
  • Flower Drop Charm Set (2) - Piccolo
  • Mermaid Tears Emboss Powder - Piccolo
  • Embossing Powder Adhesive - Piccolo
  • Glastique - Globecraft
  • Swarowski Crystal - Jolee
  • Ball Hooks - Cousins
  • Heat Gun

Thanks for stopping by,

On The Bright Side...........

Hello Blogger, thanks for stopping by today. Today I am sharing my "Smile" album filled with pictures that I have captured of my family smiles. The paper line is called The Bright Side, and I think it is another awesome line created by My Minds Eye.

I used a lot of ribbon for the outside. I think my favorite is the seam binding ribbon that was dyed turquoise by my friend Cindy Fahrbach and intertwined it with some cute eyelet ribbon from May Arts. If you look closer you can see these cute key trinkets I picked up at Scrap N Yap in Monrovia, CA.

I picked up these adorable flowers at Hobby Lobby. I love that they finally opened one close to us.
Here is my oldest son Michael and his beautiful girlfriend Paige, cute couple!
This is a favorite photo of my family this year.....LOL
This was a great day. We went to Disney Walk, had a great time hanging out and just enjoying the day. We are very fortunate to live about 25 miles from Disneyland.
Here is hubby and I ♥

Thanks for stopping by........come back soon!

A Little Bit Of Sunshine

Hello there everyone,

Michelle here blogging on a Saturday night......yes a Saturday night! I can not remember the last time I was able to do just that. I had been organizing my desk area, as is norm after I finish a project, when I noticed that it was 5:30pm. I had wondered if I would have time to make a layout in time before the sun goes down, so that I can take photos, and I did......HORRAY!!!

I had this beautiful picture of Izzy, and thought it would look great with with Sunny Side up collection by My Minds Eye.Izzy had just had her long hair cut and her Mom aka "Momarazzi" caught this beautiful photo of her.
I distressed all the edges around the boarders.
After the edges were distressed, I inked them.
I used my scissors to cut and trim and my images from the accessory sheet.
As I do with most of my projects I added Stickles to make my layout sparkle.
I used a sheer ribbon with twine......I loved how it came out!
I love to use my 3D dots to pop out my cut outs.
Products used:
  • My Minds Eye - Sunny Side Paper line, Accessory Sheet,
  • May Art - Sheer ribbon
  • Ranger - Stickles
  • Ink - Color Box
  • Tools - Distressing tool by Prima, Scissors, Paper trimmer (Fiskars)
  • Adhesive - Tombow, and 3D Dots
Thanks for stopping by......come back soon.
