Happy Little Me..........

Me use funny photos of me? I thought why not!  I wanted to take some pictures that were outside of my normal of not right angle, or no it looks like I have a double chin. But you know you gotta love me for who I am, not what I look like right?

This is how I really look when I have a huge smile on my face. This was such an awesome day and I wanted to capture how I felt this day, very happy.

On this layout I used the Tigerlilly collection by Kaisercraft papers. I normally do not use use orange but I absolutely love how they mixed it with pink and black.

I also made my photos in black and white and of course finished my layout with amazing ribbon from May Arts and nothing is ever complete without using Stickles by Ranger of course.

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon ♥ Michelle

Spunky Little Girl

Hello Bloggers, just doing a quick drive by tonight. When I first saw this amazing paper from American Crafts, my first thought was it is sooooo cute.....But those neon colors are too loud, whatever will I do with them?

Going through my photos........Again, I find these amazing photos that my friend Monica sends me. Well the truth is that I beg her for her photos......she is such an amazing photographer. Girl has skills.....LOL and her daughter Izzy is such a adorable little girl, a great sport...... and with some spunk too!

So thank you Amercian Craft for your awesome Sketchbook line by Amy Tangerine.

Cousins Mini Book

Hello bloggers, I was very fortunate to take a few awesome pictures this past Easter Holiday. So I decided to make a mini album that my family will cherish for years to come.

I used the Bind It All to bind and make the holes, and antique wire to keep it together.
The paper I used today came from Authentic, their Loyal collection.....and it was perfect for my photos. They had many cute cousin quotes, and little boy quotes that was a perfect fit for all my pictures.

I also used my Epiphany square punch. I love being able to make my own embellishments to get that special final touch I am looking for.
A album is not complete until you add ribbon. I am loving the May ArtsnRossettes ribbon.....my favorites.
Pictured here is Alexis, Diego and Erin.
I also used the Epiphany Pennant punch for this page to create a mini banner and topped it off with crochet ribbon.
Awwwww, I love this picture. This is AJ's 1st Easter, and he had so much fun with all his cousins. Pictured here are my adorable nieces Bella, Gabby, Alexis and Erin.
This is a perfect age when the kids are still willing to act silly for the camera.
I can always count on my Diego to cross his eyes when I am trying to capture special moments.....LOL

Family Mini Album

Hello Bloggers,

Today I would really like to talk about my latest new love.....errr, should I say obssesion.........INK! I have always had a love and hate affair with ink. But because my designer friend Teresa (Her blog ---> http://victorianpaperqueen.blogspot.com/ ) reintroduced to me, I quickly picked up at where I left off last year and started playing with my old ones and new ones. I am really liking the Donna Salazar Mixed Media ink. I love how it has a chalky feel to it, and I am able to get a smooth look using the Ink Essential tool.

For today's post I made a Family album using the We Are Memory Keepers scrapbook line called Anthologie. The album is a 3 ring chipboard binder from Bazzil Basics. The ink I used around the edges of the album and around the dollie is by Donna Salazar. The colors were Peridot and Leather, along with the blender ink essential tool.

I used 4 different embossed stickers from the same Anthologie line. But if you real close on one of the stickers you will see a scalloped bottle cap I made using the Epiphany scalloped epoxy punch.....I love how you can make you own epoxy trinkets using whatever papers you have to create the perfect match.

I used my Cricut E2, and several cartridges. For the word Family I used Lyrical Letters, and cut at 3" but along with my Cricut Craft Room I was able to weld the letters to get one continues cut. Welding the words makes it easier for me to adhere the word to my project.....it is my favorite feature. I used Story book for the Fancy corner cut at 4 1/2" and the heart came from the Plantin cartridge cut at 4 1/2"

As I usually do, I added glitter all around the mini album to give it that sparkley finished look. I am teaching this at my local craft store, and once the class is completed I can finish posting the rest of the pictures.

Thanks for reading today's blog post and do not forget to have a fabulous day..... ♥
